Should I purchase an OLED Monitor?

Currently debating if I should purchase a OLED QHD monitor because I am currently using a 1080p 180hz monitor after downgrading from 1080p 240hz because I personally saw no difference in refresh rate, however my friend suggested that I should upgrade to 1440p because it is a massive upgrade.

I have been seeing a fuck ton of reviews and takes saying that oled monitors are not worth it at all because of several different reasons.

So just wanted to ask should I upgrade to a ips 180hz 1440p monitor or wait a month and purchase a oled 1440p monitor that will be on sale

So in conclusion kind of asking do the pros outweigh the cons of purchasing a oled monitor or should I just stick to a normal 1440p ips panel (sorry for wording this like shit)
