Smoking Yourself to Death

I have a family remember refuses to quit smoking. Multiple ER visits because he can't breathe, diagnosed with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, missing teeth, and infected lung. Even when educated on all the negative consequences of smoking from multiple nurses and doctors, he still smokes. Anyone in a similar situation? What did you or didn't you do?

I'm literally at the point if he has "emergency" that he go take care of it himself. I'm done with all this stress.
