why do y'all make scoring look so difficult?

Gameplay

I average 35+ on my SG, 20/25/12 on my center and 30/9 on my PG, for reference. I am not by any means an amazing comp player. There is NO reason you should be scoring under 10 points a game.

Genuinely, I watch some players on the court stand still in the corner the whole game, never cut, and complain about having 2 shots at the end. Point guards that pass the ball to a contested player before they cross half court every possession, bigs that hold LT in the post the whole game when they don't have a mismatch (the funny thing is, 90% of the time they have no clue how to do a single effective post move), forwards that either sit in corner or run in circles the whole game because they lack a brain to move with a purpose.

I'm 99% sure I could find someone who never plays 2k, give them a decent build, and have them average 25+ in the rec. There is no "skill gap" involved in cutting when the lane is open, running to the open spot on breaks, running on breaks in general, and effectively moving off-ball.

I hate when, as a pg, I see someone running in circles for 10 seconds, and when they finally have an open lane to cut or open space to shoot, they go AWAY from the open area of the court and run into their own teammates. These will be the same players complaining about how they end the game with 8 points while I'm trying to help these guys score. Scoring off a cut, break, etc is the easiest thing to do in a game yet 95% of the community is unable to do it.

The worst thing is the bigs, what are y'all doing holding LT in the post on a "shaq build" just to end up LT mashing and chucking a contested RPP% layup. These same Shaq builds with no pass accuracy and end the game with 8 rebounds and 5 offensive 3 second violations. 90% of bigs could add 8-10 points a game if they learned how to effectively do a drop-step, pump-fake, and post-spin.
