Lost my save game due to steam cloud being buggy - what are my options?

Today I started the game on my steam deck just to test. Game is empty I am like.. Ooh.. Cloud sync does not work.

I log back to my PC, starts steam, game,click resume game ... And ... I am back at Lumiere. Act1. Old save is gone. I was at the end of act2 with level 45 well grinded characters and many outfits unlocked. I am looking at you, mimes.

I checked my cloud saves, local files, backup... everything is freshly from today.

1. I contacted steam support As much as we would like to help, Steam Support is not able to rollback or restore any deleted or lost cloud saves

2. I checked windows file version history. It can provide me with an old version. Really old. I-havent-found-maelle-in-act1-old

3. I have a backup folder but it doesn't help, it is also a fresh game.

I am not going to grind again to recover my 40h of gameplay. Do we have a save editor of sorts?
