Is it possible to do Transient Study at CPCC (or whichever CC) as a Freshman in Fall?

Just wondering cus I’m trying to take Calc 2 at a local community college during the fall and not at UNCC for credit equivalency purposes. If I were to do this, would it count as a credit under that community college or would it transfer into UNCC and be counted as a “UNCC Calc 2” credit?
