Got upgraded and lost in hotel! Share your funny stories! 😂

Misc

Okay, At least I think this was a funny story so would love to hear your funny stories. Share your funny stories or experiences, I love hearing them.

Gold Elite here and was visiting Austin Marriott for a business trip. Been there before so not a stranger.

Somehow got upgraded to an executive king suite instead of the regular king bed I usually get. Now I didn't know that the executive suites are hidden in a corner with an apartment type entrance that can be closed/opened with a key.

I literally did like two loops of the floor to find where the heck is my room and found the hidden entrance to a world of sweet sweet technology and space when the other room guest I assume left the main entrance open while I was looking around. Loved the riverside view, automatic curtains and amazing bed too!

Also, anyone know why does Marriott keep the coffee maker in a nightstand on the bottom shelf? That's so annoying to have to sit down on the floor basically to make shitty hotel room coffee.
