Spectacular Spider-man is overrated

I recently watched this show after hearing from everyone how great it is

I like the Spider-man aspect of the show but the peter parker stuff always throws me off, its just steriotypical highschool shit that is not actually how high school is like, the bully characters like flash, cheerleader girls, the super attractive MJ, the fat kid, its just all what high school drama movies do and I hate it ahhhhh all the supporting cast feels like a caricatures to me

It doesnt click with me because its not at all the experience I had in high school, Your friendly nighbourhood Spider-man is more in line with what my high school experience was and I relate to that more, maybe its because I was born in mid 2000s and ppl in the 90s and 80s had different experiences with high school so they relate to spectacular more

But as it stands, Spectacular Spider-man is not at all the BTAS of spidey media, atlist not for me Still the 90s Spidey show is my fav Spidey show (Until few years down the line Your friendly nighbourhood Spider-man gets more seasons and retains the same quality that the first season had)
