Extreme hunger, sweating, and energy after eating normally again
I've been restricting food intake for a few months, which caused a lot of issues like gastroparesis, indigestion, and constipation. Recently I've been eating more and more and upping my daily caloric intake.
The day before yesterday I had what a person would consider as a "normal" meal for dinner, and I went to sleep feeling like any other day. However, yesterday I woke up at 4AM hungry, so I decided to eat something, but the more I ate the more hungry I felt, so I just ate more and my digestion decided to magically heal itself. Then my entire body felt super warm (I even started sweating) and I became super hyper yesterday. I kept snacking throughout the day because the hunger didn't seem to go away, but that's okay because I finally felt alive after months of low energy. I basically ate until my stomach was bloated or when I stopped feeling hungry but my digestion seemed to work super fast and I became hungry super quickly after meals.
The issue is sometimes I have too much energy and the sweating is annoying. I just woke up and my back is full of sweat, and now I can't go back to sleep. I sometimes feel my heart beating loudly, but idk if this is an issue or not. I just don't want this newfound energy to disrupt my sleep :sob:
Has anyone gone through the same process? If so, how did you manage to sleep? I'm happy to provide more context into my situation like numbers and stuff if it makes it easier to give advice.
