I feel soo much anxiety driving and don't know what's wrong
18F. I was really excited to sign up for driving classes when I turned 18 cause all my friends had started driving and it seemed soo fun. At the start of my classes, all was going well. My instructor said I was a fast learner. I was driving down highways within my first few lessons and I passed the notoriously hard parking test in the first go. On the day of my road test, I had to wait a long time and test anxiety got the better of me and I failed. I took a few extra classes and passed my second attempt, excited to start driving on my own. But ever since I got into my parents' cars and started driving with them, I've started hated driving. I feel soo anxious, like I'm forgetting something or going too slow or smth. I've been messing up my parking everytime and don't feel confident enough to drive alone. My parents keep saying to give it time and that it comes with practice but I just hate it. I feel like crying everytime I drive and I feel soo dumb that I can't do it anymore after months of expensive classes.
Did anyone else feel like this when they started driving? How did you overcome it?
