KaSu & Quintin Tarantino

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it before, but watching Kanima on screen in Retro felt very similar to the boogie between Uma Thurman & John Travolta in Pulp Fiction. The deadpan looks, energetic dancing etc. Not saying KaSu copied but there was certainly a lot of inspiration from PF. There was also another flashback dance scene between Paari & Rukmini that clearly drew from PF.

Anyone else felt the same? Was there any other inspiration that you noticed?
