Lots of yelling going on at Knots Landing!

Knots was always my favorite show ever and I was thrilled to be able to re-watch the entire series on Prime Video. What I notice this time around is how much yelling goes on with the characters. Is there an unusual amount of aggressive arguing, yelling and intense behavior? I noticed it with Sid, then certainly Mack, Karen and sometimes Val.
