Advice for a minor problem with neighbors

Hi fellow shawarmas! I need your thoughts on how to mention a minor (4/10 annoying score) problem with a neighbor without making things worse. The thing is there is this guy living in our apartment floor, that is really loud in corridors, speaking loudly with his wife when they are together and calling(shouting) her wifes name down the hall for 5-6 seconds before he reaches his door, no matter the time (even 2am). I have thought of confronting him politely when he's shouting late at night, but wasn't sure if it was worth it to risk having a pissed off neighbor who is already proven to lack manners.

What would you do if you were in my shoes? 1.confront calmly and politely while passing down the hall? Or 2.email building management (they have been helpful for other problems so far)
