Friends keep asking about why i have never dated before.

Ask Twenties

So I’m 24M, and all three of my friends have girlfriends. They’ve had exes before too, so they’ve always been in relationships. Whenever we hang out—whether it’s during office hours or somewhere else—someone eventually brings up the fact that I’ve never been in a relationship. Then it turns into this whole thing:
"Why aren’t you trying?"
"Why don’t you hit on that X girl or Y girl?"
"You’re not ugly, you can get a girl!"
"Why aren’t you on a dating app?"

Here’s the thing—only two girls have ever approached me in my life, and that was back in school. At that time, I wasn’t really interested in relationships, and I didn’t like the girls who approached me anyway.
I have never approached any girl in my whole life btw too scared.

Then came college, and honestly, I had no friends. Like, zero. I was that weird guy who always ate alone. So yeah, no chance of anything happening in college. And then COVID happened, so you can subtract two years from that college experience too.

Now I’m out of college and working, and I feel kinda left out. I don’t have Instagram, I don’t have those close college friend groups to connect with. You feel me? Proximity matters a lot in these things.

Plus, I’m camera-shy, so I don’t even have good pictures of myself. I don’t think I’m good-looking, even though my friends say I’m “okay-ish.” But honestly, I don’t think "okay-ish" people get matches on dating apps, so I haven’t even tried.

I just wanted to know—what should I even do? I want to experience a relationship too. I’m also sick of my friends constantly asking why I’m not trying to talk to girls.
