Pixel 8 Pro stops responding to touch...

Hello, I have a Pixel 8 Pro, and lately, the touchscreen has been failing. Basically, when I'm using a regular app like TikTok, Instagram, etc., at some point, the touchscreen just stops responding. The phone keeps working because if I press the button for the Google Assistant, it responds, and if I ask it to open an app via the assistant, it works, but the touchscreen doesn't respond. What I have to do is turn off the phone, but what bothers me the most is that the phone won't turn back on. I try pressing volume up with the power button or volume down with the power button, and it still doesn't turn on. I don't know what to do. The phone has never been dropped; in fact, it's like new, and this issue is frustrating because I don't know why it's happening. Has this happened to any of you, and have you fixed it? Even when I connect the charger, it doesn't feel like it's charging.
