Livedo Reticular+ foot drop
Hey docs,
33f - 145 lbs Physically active Take 25mg sertraline only No smoke, drink, drugs
I’ve had an ambiguous neurological disorder for four years that shows up with episodic symptoms that mimic MS. Coordination issues, foot drop, optic nerve damage, muscle tremors/ fatigue, emotional disturbances, and gi pain/ issues. MS has effectively been ruled out due to (now) normal mri. Precious mri showed a now healed punctuate frontal lobe lesion taken after a seizure like episode during a Covid illness, another spinal mri showed possible demylinating lesion on spinal cord but wasn’t present on subsequent mri taken five months later. Abnormal test results have been an abnormal EMG on foot drop muscles showing mild deactivation of signal, optic disc cupping - glaucoma ruled out, and reduced sensation in left leg. I have headaches at times too. Newest addition to my symptoms is what a derm called livedo reticularis- on my arms and legs. I have had a normal ANA when they looked at this, however my nuero is pushing for further investigation from Derm. Any thoughts? Precious DX or celiac in which I am very careful and mainly cook and eat at home.
