Istigatha through Parents of Prophet (s) and Imam Ali (a.s)

Narrated from Dawud al-Raqqiy, who said:

I went to see Abu Abdillah Imam Sadiq (عليه السلام) and a man owed me money, I was afraid of losing it. I complained to him about it.

The Imam said to me: "When you reach Mecca, perform Tawaf on behalf of Abd al-Muttalib (as) and pray two Rak'ahs (salah) on his behalf.

Then perform Tawaf on behalf of Abu Talib (as) and pray two Rak'ahs on his behalf.

Then perform Tawaf on behalf of Abdullah (as) and pray two Rak'ahs on his behalf.

Then perform Tawaf on behalf of Aminah (as) and pray two Rak'ahs on her behalf.

Then perform Tawaf on behalf of Fatimah bint Asad and pray two Rak'ahs on her behalf.

Then supplicate [to Allah] that your money be returned to you."

[Dawud al-Raqqi] said: So I did that. Then I exited from the Gate of Safa, and my debtor was standing there, saying: "O Dawud, you have kept me waiting! Come take your money."
