32F- pericoronitis 3 months after wisdom tooth extractions

Hi everyone- got all 4 wisdom teeth extracted 3 months ago due to recurring pericoronitis and I woke up yesterday with… pericoronitis again. My extraction was very uneventful and I healed pretty fast/ have been pain free since 2 weeks post procedure.

Is this normal? I’ll call my oral surgeon tomorrow and see if he’ll see me but I didn’t expect this to ever happen after extractions.
