Can I still get a refund for a counterfeit item after I have given positive feedback already?

DISCUSSION

Seller was really nice and shipped quickly, I opened the box with running shoes and they were in new condition as described in the ad. I immediately completed the purchase on Vinted, pressed ‘Everything is okay’ and left positive feedback. Next I put the shoes on for a run. I actually have an original pair of the same model (but in a different colorway) and when I put them on noticed these fit much differently despite being the same size. Upper and stitching of low quality as well. When I removed the insole, there was no serial number present 🥲 Comparing them closely to the original I can also see fonts, placements and coloring are off. In short: I got myself a counterfeit pair.

I’ve used the ‘Submit evidence’ button on Vinted to report this to the seller, but I can not see any mention of it added to the conversation with the seller… is this because the purchase is already seen as definitive? Or has the report gone to Vinted directly? Can I still get a refund somehow?
