Anxious Ab Haircut

Hey guys! I need a little bit of cheering on here - I haven’t had my haircut for about two years (before the agoraphobia arose). I’m visiting my parents and my mom has offered to take me for one. Things HAVE been going relatively well, have been on a few outings that all went fine. It’s just with the haircut I feel paralyzed. I know I need it, the great clips says they have a zero minute wait time - I’m just scared I’m going to feel trapped in the chair. Can someone provide me with words of wisdom?

I’m great at providing OTHERS with advice from my therapist but when it comes to my own situations I go blank. I guess she would say to tell myself “maybe I’ll feel trapped in the chair, maybe I won’t - regardless I know I can handle it”. She would also say to sit through the discomfort AND she would say to breathe through the feelings.

Going to go take my klonopin now and wait an hour before I actually take my mom up on her generous offer.

Help.
