Can't copy text from the screen with the power button after update (Pixel 7)

Before the last update I could hold the power button and the phone would "scan the screen" and I could select text on screen and copy it. This was super handy for some apps (like Reddit) that won't let me hold press and select text to copy.

After the update the power button just opens obnoxious Gemeni. I can swap it to be the old school power menu but now I miss the screen scanning function it has before.

Anyway to get it back and get Gemeni out of here?
