Potted Plant Recommendations for Small Condo Patio

Does anyone have suggestions for plants they have successfully potted and grown on their balcony or small patio?

I am in a condo with a small ground level patio, that gets direct sunlight for 3-4 hours of the day.

I am struggling to find plants that thrive. So far I have tried rosemary and lavendar as an experiment, as I heard those tend to do well in warm climates with little water. So far that hasn't turned out well.

So far the only thing that has flourished is a barrel cactus and a sedum plant.

Please let me know what you have had success with!
