Should I upgrade my 2021 Giant Propel Advanced 2 or buy a new Canyon Aeroad?

Hi everyone, I’m deciding whether it’s worth upgrading my current bike or going for a new one, and I’d love your input.

I have a 2021 Giant Propel Advanced 2 with Shimano 105 mechanical and a set of FFWD 55mm wheels on DT Swiss 240 hubs. Internal cable routing is decent (only about 2cm exposed between the bar and stem), and overall the bike is in good condition – just a few scratches and some wear on the rear derailleur. I also have the original Giant PA-2 wheels.

I’m thinking about upgrading it to Ultegra Di2 R8170.

On the other hand, I could sell the whole setup and get a brand-new Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 8 Di2 for 29,000 PLN (~$7,200 USD). It comes with: • Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8150 12-speed • 4iiii power meter • DT Swiss ARC 1400 wheels (50mm) • Carbon integrated cockpit (CP0048) • Continental GP 5000 tires • And a newer aero carbon frame with space for 32mm tires

My questions: 1. Is upgrading my Propel to Di2 worth it in terms of performance and value? 2. Would I be better off just selling everything and getting the Canyon? 3. Would the Canyon offer noticeable real-world benefits for someone who rides hard, does some racing, and cares about performance, but ofc isn’t a pro ;) ?

Thanks in advance for any insight
