Stardew valley, performance on Switch as of May 2025 (?)

Hello everyone!!

I’m planning to buy the game for my switch - already have it on my PC, but I’ll need to travel quite a bit during the second part of year and I’d like to have it in a portable way.

My question relies on how the performance is on the switch. I’ve heard complaints about this, related to lags, bugs, etc., and cannot find anything updated on this topic; all the info is quite old.

I’d highly appreciate your feedback about this and whether it’s worth or not to get the game on switch.

Thanks in advance!! :)
