Why didn’t Kanye finish donda 2 after having five years to finish it and make it a complete project?

He didn’t update any of the instrumentals and a lot of the verses are still just him mumbling. Idk if he was trying to mumble rap, but he does realize that mumble rap is at least bearable when the beats are at least good, right? I’m at a point where i would prefer him to just focus on other creative endeavors. He obviously doesn’t care about music that much anymore.
