i just bought my first pair of dunks and they seem to run quite small? (contrary to what I've read)

I'm a F size 7.5 in nike (7 everywhere else) and I had to get an 8 for dunks! in the 7.5, my toe was touching the end of the shoe...i got them to wear under my wedding dress but now i'm wondering if i should go back and get the 7.5 and just deal with my toe touching.
