How much clearance does the O11 Vision Compact need?

I'm planning a new PC build with the O11 Vision Compact case, but I live in a relatively hot environment, and I’m a bit concerned about airflow and thermals.

My setup involves placing the PC under a solid wooden desk, with about 1 inch of space between the side AIO intake fans and the wall. Will that 1-inch gap be enough for the fans to intake cool air or cause thermal issues, especially in a hot climate? or should I look into other 'non fish tank' cases with fans on the front?

Does anyone have experience with this case and know how much clearance it realistically needs for good airflow?
