Being with Bisexuals

I have a question. For those of you who openly have relations with actively bisexual women, especially those "bicurious" married ones or even the ones that just do what they do. How do you protect yourself and do you explain that to potential cross contamination to other intimate partners? I'm not and I do not, but someone I care about does and I don't feel comfortable having intimate exchange with people like that. So prior to the potential of coming face to face with this issue I jus wanted to ask in general what's the vibe on this safety issue. i appreciate any help and guidance, this whole topic is so uncomfortable but I see a lot of people jus passing partners and acting like STIs don't exist in our community as lesbian women. And they very much do. TIA
