Global business practicum

Hi everyone! I’m starting at UniMelb in July 2025 (coursework Masters in management- accounting and finance), and I’ve been looking into the Global Business Practicum. It seems like a great opportunity, and I don’t want to miss out, so I’m trying to get prepared early.

A few questions for anyone who’s done it or knows how it works: 1. When would I be eligible to participate if I start mid-year (July 2025)? 2. How and when do you apply? Is it competitive? 3. What’s the application and selection process like? 4. Any insights on what to expect from the program, how to make the most of it, or things you wish you knew beforehand? 5. Do you recommend doing it in a particular semester (e.g. summer vs winter)?
