Measurements

Basically a joe rogan reel popped up while scrolling and he was asking some guy "is pound of feathers equal to a pound of gold?" To which the guest responded "no, because a pound of gold is made of 16 oz of gold while feathers only 12oz". Now here's my question, are you Americans getting scammed because of your mesuring system?

All of your measuring systems seem to be a bit inaccurate like 1gal=3.785411784L or 1m=3.28084ft...like how the hell are you even supposed to keep track of the decimals?
