Airtel SIM not activating even after recharge – Need help!

My Airtel SIM got temporarily deactivated because I didn’t recharge it for a few weeks. I recently recharged it, and the Airtel Thanks app shows the recharge status as active. However, the SIM is still not getting activated.

I tried switching off the phone, turning airplane mode on and off, and even attempted calling customer care — but I only got through partially and couldn’t get a proper resolution.

Has anyone faced this before? Is there any solution? Also, how long does it usually take for the SIM to get reactivated after a recharge?
