Consistently over on Weekly Points, especially due to social situations. Any advice?

WW Personal Points

I really struggle with social situations, and also wanting my favorite dairy free and gluten free quesadilla at my local allergen friendly restaurant. For the first few months since January when I started I was losing a pound a week consistently. I was not going over on my points, but did feel a bit restricted.

I have been making lots of zero or low point meals (4 or less typically) and meal prepping and freezing them for the week. I also have lots of zero point snacks available and in baggies or glass containers ready to take on the go (ex. Veggies, berries, hard boiled eggs, deli meat).

I love sweets. It’s my biggest temptation. At home, I’m mainly fine. I have Lily’s dark chocolate (only 3 pts for half a bar!) and also do the air popped popcorn.

The issue is I am getting married in 3 months and trying to stick to my goals, but have something almost every night that is wedding related or family related to go to, and that is when I go over on points. Not only that, but I am dairy and gluten free (for avoiding acne and severe stomach aches) so stuff like vegan cheese and vegan yogurt is NOT zero or low point. It’s higher than regular WW points for dairy items.

Please, any advice?? I’m mainly tempted by stuff I’m not supposed to eat at social situations regarding gluten and dairy. And when I do indulge I typically binge because I’m like well I’m going to have a stomach ache anyway I might as well enjoy. For instance yesterday at a baby shower I ate 3 pieces of a cookie cake. So delicious. Yes my stomach did hurt after lol. You think that would be enough of a deterrent. Didn’t track the points until after because I didn’t want to be rude and pull out my phone and check the points. Turns out, three pieces of chocolate chip cookie cake was 49 total pints!!!! Had already used up my weeklies on my quesadilla and a cookie the day before….

Help!!! Any one else struggle like this? How did you overcome?
