Why didn’t Henry protect the resting places of his aunts?

Question

I’ve been reading about Elizabeth of York’s sisters, particularly Cecily and Catherine.

It really disappointed me to find out that their graves were desecrated and destroyed during the Reformation.

Catherine’s grave was destroyed within about a decade of her death, so quite recently.

Henry very clearly loved and idolised his mother, and was seemingly fond of his aunt Catherine. So why did he allow her and Cecily’s graves to be destroyed?

He very easily could’ve forbade that they be touched.
