Should I be upset with my mother-in-law about mother's day?

My MIL was really unhappy about our pregnancy at first. Super unclear why (we are happily married for 3 years and completely financially dependent). She now tells me she reacted poorly to the news because she was concerned that we were going to miscarry (weird excuse, but ok.). I am now in my third trimester.

Anyways, we celebrated mother's day early and we got her a gift, and she did not even acknowledge me or the fact I was pregnant. Should I be upset? She has done a lot of things "wrong" in this pregnancy and I give her a lot of grace, but it feels weird she didn't even acknowledge me. (She is catholic too hahah if that impacts anyone's analysis)
