3 yr old never laid an egg

So before you say she’s a he- here is what I’ve done so far to help with hormones and nesting behavior. My bird is a solo lovebird, she loves me and my son and is happy and healthy.

1-She has a bed time cage. It’s small, has a bed, no food or water, and a blackout curtain placed over it for bedtime. She loves her bedtime routine and she gets 12 hours in there with a sound machine of a babbling brook. 🙄 I know.

2- she isn’t in her cage all day. Only if we leave the house or have company over do we put her in her big day cage.

So far from what I can tell, this has been the best routine to prevent her from getting too much time in one place to lay eggs.

Yes she is spoiled but she is my best friend and it seems to work. I have bought dummy eggs but have never used them yet.
