Talk shit about someone else's life? Don't expect to not be put in your place.
I'm on the bus, woman gets on with a screaming toddler, I'm sitting upstairs, so I think "oh well, I'm at the back anyway".
She brings her child upstairs and sits right behind me on a completely empty top deck.
Now I get it, it's public transport, so people are obviously allowed to sit wherever they want. But this woman, something in her eyes just made me realise she was there to annoy me. Let's call her "A"
I go downstairs, and she follows and gives me dirty looks. I actually ended up meeting a woman who is also I assume is also childfree (because she was sighing, looking at me with a "here we go" look in her eyes), she struck a convo with me about rehabilitating animals (meanwhile A is just letting her toddler scream directly at both of us) Let's call her "B"
A and her husband proceeds for the entire trip to just give both of us dirty looks. The husband looked incredibly offended at the fact we were talking about animal health instead of cooing over her toddler.
As I'm asking about what sort of things B does to help nurse animals back to health, A says in the most disgusting tone:
"Alright this is getting ridiculous, why are you even looking after animals instead of raising children? What are you both even going to amount to? THEY'RE ANIMALS! HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE KIDS?!" She starts raising her voice.
B says: "I don't know about you, but I get a fulfilment out of nursing animals back to health and watching them go back into the wild. Unlike you, I don't see the desire to turn into a shit-smelling person who carries a screaming thing everywhere they go to feel any form of use in life."
The husband says: "Don't you dare start, if you don't like my wife or daughter, then get off and find another bus."
A and her husband get off at the next stop. She deliberately took her time putting her daughter back in the pram, meanwhile loudly saying to her husband "wait until she ends up having kids. I'm sick of people like them."
