Little help, my ass cant figure it out
New to messing with google sheets but I'm trying to figure out a function or formula to add hours from the same cell, if possible. screen shot attached. Basically trying to run payroll for the week but each cell has the employees hours in them set as 9am to 9pm or 5pm to 9pm for each day of the week. What im trying to figure out if there is a way to write up a formula for google sheets to figure out 9am to 9pm is 12 hours or 5pm to 9pm is 4 and then have a total at the end of the week.
I know I can do it in different cells but is there a way for 1 cell 9am to 8pm= 11 hours?
