Will I get fired for not asking about credit cards?

Im fairly new to working at Walgreens and just wanted to know... it is very hard asking the constant elderly to sign up for it so I've just stopped saying it when my sfls aren't around at the register and plus I hear it's not a good at all.

They wanted use to at least get 20-28 in a week then it went to 10 in a day like WHAT!?

I don't want to lose my job so I'm curious
