Getting closer to being taken seriously?

Update

Since severe covid in early 2022 my main symptoms of burning red fingertips and toes started about 6 weeks later. All I’ve ever been told is that it’s long covid and there is no treatment etc. I was finally taken seriously by one general practitioner. This after at least 30 visits for worsening symptoms. They referred me to neurology and I had a brain and spine mri 6 weeks ago which showed non specific white matter lesions in my brain and spinal cord. I have been assured these are not a tumors but am having a follow up mri in 2 weeks to confirm if the lesions are inflammation. I have read about Covid activating the immune system causing MS amongst other things obviously but i’m not sure in how many people. This is not my diagnosis but due to weakness and L’Hermittes sign (an MS characteristic) this is what they are checking for. Either a coincidence or Covid activated. Maybe they’ll say it’s idiopathic but they will say something I hope. I don’t even care anymore because I’ve been suffering so long with the pain undiagnosed I’ve gotten used to the misery. If they come up with solid answers and treatment plan then great but I’m not holding my breath.
