Getting a Steamdeck to play 3D fighting games docked
I'll preface this by saying I'm less than a casual gamer. When it comes to DLSS FSR and all that stuff I wouldn't know it if I was staring right at it.
I've currently got a switch and my god am I bored with it. I want to play better 3D games, specifically fighting games, specifically virtua fighter 5 revo and Tekken 7 (not 8) and any other arcadey 3D fighters.
Looking for the cheapest and convenient way of doing this, is a steam deck the best choice? I can see videos on YouTube of people playing VF5 Revo on a deck and saying it looks great but would it be any different docked on a 50 inch TV I sit really far back from?
I don't have a gaming PC and a steam deck LCD model is fairly cheap, it's cheaper to get one than build something right? Plus no Windows/more of a console experience if it's staying docked?
