Blurb hurdles of a first-time publishing indie... Help?

So, I was sooo confident about my blurb! But then, as I research more how to do publishing "right", with all the marketing considerations and such, how a good cover and a good blurb can be the make or break between my book being a modest success and a wet rag... And now I'm not so sure anymore.

I have a professional and hopefully to-market cover coming up, and I do have betas/amateur proofers but they're too close to home (I trust them with grammar and spelling but I don't trust they can be perfectly objective with the story as they are my friends), and so I would greatly appreciate fellow authors of romance to sound back on my blurb. I'm targeting an audience of contemporary erotic m/m romance readers (especially those who love Asian boy love genres). Here goes:

"Wang Hanjun is an heir to his family's billion-yuan business and is to marry well -to produce the next heir to the pharmaceutical dynasty. During his secondment in New York the repressed young professional falls in love with Li Ying, a firecracker medical student who's just about got his life together; a man.
To convince the traditional Wang family to bless their marriage, Hanjun and Li Ying decide to follow through with a daring plan: to pass Li Ying as a woman to Shanghai’s ultra wealthy elite.
As Li Ying glams up to take on the challenge he finds himself toe-to-toe with the ruthlessly scheming Wu family who are after his fiancé's company.
As the stakes get higher, can Li Ying not only convince everyone that he is a marriageable woman, but also that he has what it takes to join Shanghai’s high society? And how much can Hanjun ask the man he loves to change in order to marry him?"

Too long? Too expository/not gripping enough? Just your honest thoughts and impressions, if you can spare them! 🙏 Thank you in advance!
