I've Found this video about a Disabled iPad Problem. Is it Legit?

I've been trying to access my iPad for I think like a year in a half, but with several attempts failed, I permanently disabled it. The screen is also broken so even though I was able to see the lock screen before, the severity of my broken screen got worse to the point where it isn't visible anymore.

However, a few days ago I found out a pattern with it. So after updating my disabled iPad, I've been noticing that when I turn it on and click the home button again, the screen lightens and darkens by command. Almost as if it did work and it really did give us more time.

What do y'all think?
