How do tops feel about poppers?

As a vers top, I find that I get kind of annoyed by popper use by bottoms. Call me a hopeless fantasist, but when I'm fucking a guy, I like to feel like I'm connected to him. I'm paying attention to his responses. But when bottoms take a hit of poppers, it's like they go somewhere else, and I'm just the dildo they're riding. One guy did this a couple of nights ago while he was on top, a heavier guy, and he went crazy and started slamming down on me to the point where it was hurting my pelvis and I had to tell him to ease up. I still feel a little bruised. And popper use often seems to interrupt the experience, for me at least. I'm sure others will disagree, but that's my take.
