Side effects from Prozac

I've been on and off antidepressants for over 40 years. It's never pretty when I stop taking them, so I've been really good about it for the last 9 years. I had to go off the one I'd been on for years because I lost my insurance for a few months and it was something like $1500/mo without insurance (trintellix). I was put on 20 mg Prozac about 18 months ago, but no changes after that until a little over a month ago when I asked my new psychiatrist about making changes. That dose was just barely keeping me alive. She upped it to 40 mg. I definitely saw improvements with no extra side effects. Last week it was upped to 60 mg and I am so sick. I haven't cooked in days, and I live to cook and bake. The mere thought of eating makes me gag. I can't even take any of my meds today because they'll just come right back up.

Does this get better? She did warn me there might be some side effects and to drop back down to 40 if I couldn't tolerate this dose, but I just want to feel alive.
