compare with home record w vs njd: 3-0 l vs nyr: 1-2 w vs nyi: 3-0 l vs fla: 0-2 w vs njd: 3-0 w vs nyi: 2-1 l vs nyr: 3-1 w vs bos: 4-0 l vs tbl: 0-3

you can make a lot of conclusions here but what i've gathered is that winning at home is just a much bigger factor if we want to keep going.

in the series we've won our record is: 15-1 at home 5-7 on the road

in series we've lost our record is: 4-8 at home 2-8 on the road (yikes)

now my take away is that although we're obviously better on the road in winning series the biggest factor is clearly home wins. we haven't even lost a home game in a series we've won since we played the islanders in 2023! that's crazy!! you look at the stats you'll see that home wins have been a much bigger deal. so yeah seems obvious but win at home! the impact there is much bigger.
