Major Breach - Penalties?
Hello,
I would like academics and professors to answer this post ideally.
I am awaiting a formal email allegation regarding Major Breach of Academic Dishonesty. I am a postgrad student (not doctoral) but received comments that the citations in my work are invalid - although this is unintentional, it is true.
It is my first breach in my life, and in my part time postgrad program, as I work full time in adjunct to my studies.
It’s just a waiting game for the email, but I plan to be remorseful, honest, and respectful. I will also provide a medical certificate and mental health plan from my doctor. But I will make very clear that this is not an excuse for my actions but merely just to provide context. I also will plan to mention that I acknowledge and accept full responsibility and penalties that will be imposed.
What are the chances of the following:
- reduced mark
- Zero for the assessment
- Zero for the whole unit
Thank you all and appreciate it.
