My honest take on NVGTN leggings after 3 months of use
I wanted to share my experience with NVGTN leggings since I've been using them for about 3 months now for both gym sessions and casual wear.
Why I got them: I kept seeing these all over Instagram and wanted to try them after my old Gymshark pairs started to wear out.
The good stuff:
- The material feels nice against the skin and has held up well through washing
- Great compression that makes me feel secure during lifts
- The contour lines are flattering for my shape
- They stay in place during most workouts, no constant adjusting needed
- The colors are vibrant and haven't faded much with washing
The not-so-good stuff:
- The sizing is a bit strange - I normally wear a medium but had to size up
- They're pretty expensive for what you get ($60-70 per pair)
- The wait times can be frustrating since they do limited releases
- The material is quite thin in some areas which makes me worried about squat-proofness
- Some slight pilling appeared after about 8 weeks of regular use
Final thoughts: I like them for certain workouts, but they're not my holy grail leggings. The compression is good if you're into that feeling, but they're not the most breathable for cardio sessions. Customer service was decent when I had questions about sizing, but shipping took longer than expected.
Would I buy them again? Maybe, but only if they have a sale. They're good quality but not necessarily better than options at a lower price point.
