Hp Pavilion x360 help

I’m a grad student, looking to purchase a good laptop for my CS work, I have found the HP pavilion x360 2in1 laptop with the option of intel core 5 or 7 120U. My previous laptop was a dell xps 360 which had tons of problems! I need a reliable windows laptop with great battery life that I can use for my work, and it not getting heated that much! Does anyone have experience with this laptop?
