Battery Charge lasting only a day ?

Hi ,

Got the Kompakt and sideloaded Whatsapp onto it as my only non Mudita app.

My battery lasts me only a day. I'm not calling , just occasional messaging via whattsapp.

Is this unusual or just the cost of sideloading apps onto this phone?

Id hoped to get days of use before charging.
