Hair Breakage in Front

I also posted this on the menopause sub, but given my genetics (from a MaxGen report), I thought there may be some insight over here.

I’m 57, F, homozygous A1298C. But the fun doesn’t end there. Also: very slow COMT; slow MAO; trouble with SOD; Mthfd1 variant; PEMT (homo TT r7946 and hetero rs12325817) and High CYP1B1 increased 4-OHE. Below is my original post:

It never ends. After years of chasing reasons for thinning hair, my doctor and others suggested BHRT (100 mg progesterone pill, .0375 estradiol patch) I originally started at the lowest .025 level and a few months later and no change, moved to .0375. Shortly after that, things did not get better, they got worse. Prior, hair loss was diffuse. Post- HRT the hair in the front of my head got very brittle, very quickly and broke off. All of it. All in the front. What does the doc say? You need to go for higher doses of progesterone and estradiol. Given the reaction going from .025 to .0375, I’m not exactly jumping on that bandwagon. Reaching out to see if anyone experienced similar or can shed any light on this.

Edit: I forgot to mention my scalp burns constantly. 24/7
