Gooey pancakes
I’m terrible at making pancakes. I either burn them, slosh them around while trying to flip, undercook them, or they end up rubbery.
Today I used a pre-made mix. There was not enough mix to make a whole batch so I just added the powders and eyeballed the water. Dumped it all in the pan (made one 8” pancake), added blueberries and cooked each side for about 5 minutes on medium low.
The blueberries were bubbling so I assumed the pancake was cooked all the way through, but when I cut into them, the interior was very gooey and inedible.
I know, I know… I didn’t follow the instructions. I just want to understand what specific thing would result in a gooey center.
